It is a singular honor to extend our sincere gratitude to you, dear Parent/guardian, for the continued support towards the children. Thank you so much for sacrificing your resources, time and energy, may the Lord Almighty reward you accordingly. Today, Thursday, August 22, 2024, has marked the end of Term Two, 2024.

  1. Spiritual Matters

Prayers, counseling, and teaching the word of God have not missed on our daily spiritual menu as Lakeside College Luzira family. Our spiritual leaders, both internal and external, have done a commendable job.

We wish to report that, the school, Lakeside College Luzira registered candidates for the forthcoming National examinations as stated below.

  • Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (S.6), 170 students
  • Uganda Certificate of Education (S.4), 195 students.

Teaching and continuous assessments have been thoroughly done in all classes to enable learners comprehend the concepts.

  1. 3 UNEB Registration has also been done and entry of students’ scores will start soon.
  2. DIT Programs: Students that do Tailoring(Tailoring and Design), ICT and Hairdressing will sit for National Exams at a fee of shs 120,000 per candidate.
  3. Technology and Design: Parents whose child(ren) take(s) TD are required to provide each with the following building site equipment to enable them do practical papers easily: an overall, gumboots, gloves, and a helmet.
  4. Theatre Plays: 3 students of Luganda will have theater plays in different places at shs. 30,000 per head.
  5. High School Crossfire Debate Finale for S.2 students at35,000 each.
  6. Study tours

Thank you for sponsoring the children for the study tour to Western Kenya. It was educative and exciting, you really boosted the children’s morale. We kindly request you to fund the trips below as scheduled for next term.

Thank God, the students’ discipline was moderate; a few cases that seemed worse were handled by the School Administration together with the parents of the errant children.

S3 parents meeting held on Sunday August, 04, 2024 registered success as you turned up in reasonable numbers. Thank you for honoring our invite, dear esteemed parents.

It is through your efforts and tender hearts that you contributed generously towards the purchase of a 42-seater bus for the school. May the Lord always bless you.

NB: You are reminded to deposit the school fees in the bank. If, for any reason, fees payment is made in cash at school, a risk fee of shs. 30,000 per transaction shall be payable.

  • Deposit all fees in any Stanbic Bank branch nearest to you. Please include an extra Shs. 3,000 bank charges. (A/C No: 9030005844648- Nakasero Branch)
  • Parents are also advised to pay fees via Airtel Money or MTN Momo using your child’s School Pay Code.
  • Money orders or Bank drafts drawn in the names of Lakeside College Luzira are acceptable.
  • Fees payment through a staff member’s mobile money account is done at your own risk.
  • All students MUST pay full fees before reporting back to school. If not, the Parent/Guardian should see the Headteacher.
  • Ensure that you keep in touch with the Accounts Office in order to have accurate information about your child’s fees account. Provide us with your phone number or email address to keep you updated.

10. OTHER PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS

All students are required to report back to school with the following requirements:

·         Appropriate school uniform. (Any student who tampers with the school uniform will be made to pay for a new one.)

·         Insecticide treated mosquito net

·         10 rolls of toilet paper

·         Mathematical set, Graph books

·         Art Books – (S.1: A4 size – 2 books; S2: A4 size – 1 book and A3 size – 1 book)

·         English Dictionary

·         Long ruler, Scientific calculator,

·         Atlas for all students S1 – S4 and all A- level Geography students

·         Customized books are sold at the School canteen

Labeling of all uniforms shall be done at school at shs 1,500 per item to minimize loss of property.

We kindly request and encourage you to buy scholastic materials for your child(ren) in all disciplines.
