End of Term III, 2023 Circular

1.0        Greetings

We would like to take this opportunity to greet you in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Praise and Honor be to the Lord Jehovah for His love and mercy unto us.

2.0        Appreciation
We wish to extend our utmost gratitude to you dear Parents and Guardians for your generosity towards the children. The moral and financial support you have given them throughout the year are worth mentioning. May the Lord Almighty attend to the desires of your hearts.
3.0        End of Term III 2023

Today, Wednesday November 29, 2023, has marked the End of Term III, 2023. Each child has been given a Report Card (except those with school fees balances), Calendar and a Magazine,

4.0        Academics
4.1 Uganda National Examinations Board

We are glad to report that all the candidates  of S4 and S6 have successfully completed their papers, and each of them was sent home as soon as they completed their respective papers. We request you to continue giving them wise counsel and guidance they need for their well being.

4.2 Continuing Classes

S1, S2, S3 and S5 students have been taught thoroughly to make a good coverage of the respective syllabi. The same classes have been subjected to numerous assessments to build their confidence in examination answering techniques. We request you to encourage them revise their books seriously.

5.0        Discipline

The discipline of our children has been generally good. We thank God Almighty for the guiding Spirit. A few cases of indiscipline that occurred during the year were handled and settled by the School Administration and the Parents of the errant children. We thank those Parents for the cooperation exhibited while correcting their children.

6.0        Purchase of School Shuttle (Coaster)

Public transport has always frustrated our children and staff whenever they go out on academic programmes. In order to overcome that challenge, the Board of Governors voted that each child pays shs 100,000 (One hundred thousand shillings only) as a one-off contribution in Term 1, 2024 to enable the School purchase its own shuttle (Coaster).

 NB: You are reminded to deposit the school fees in the bank. If, for any reason, fees payment is made in cash at school, a risk fee of shs. 30,000 per transaction shall be payable.

  • Deposit all fees in any Stanbic Bank branch nearest to you. Please include an extra Shs. 3,000 bank charges. (A/C No: 9030005844648- Nakasero Branch)
  • Parents are also advised to pay fees via Airtel Money or MTN Momo using your child’s School Pay Code.
  • Money orders or Bank drafts drawn in the names of Lakeside College Luzira are acceptable.
  • Fees payment through a staff member’s mobile money account is done at your own risk.
  • All students MUST pay full fees before reporting back to school. If not, the Parent/Guardian should see the Headteacher.
  • Ensure that you keep in touch with the Accounts Office in order to have accurate information about your child’s fees account. Provide us with your phone number or email address to keep you updated.
7.2     OTHER PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS

      All students are required to report back to school with the following requirements:

·       Appropriate school uniform. (Any student who tampers with the school uniform will be made to pay for a new one.)

·       Insecticide treated mosquito net

·       10 rolls of toilet paper

·       Mathematical set, Graph books

·       Art Books – (S.1: A4 size – 2 books; S2: A4 size – 1 book and A3 size – 1 book)

·       English Dictionary, Long ruler, Scientific calculator,

·       Atlas for all students S1 – S4 and all A- level Geography students

NB: Customized books are sold at the School canteen

Labeling of all uniforms shall be done at School at shs 1,500 per item to minimize loss of property.

We kindly request and encourage you to buy scholastic materials for your child(ren) in all disciplines.
